About
Mission
At Wyndamere Heights Church loving God is at the center of what we do. We believe it is important to express our love for God by gathering together regularly to celebrate God in a worship service (I Peter 2:9), but we don’t want our worship to end there. Instead we seek to worship God in all we do with our whole selves: heart, soul, mind and strength (Matt. 22:37-40; Rom. 12:1). We are by no means perfect in this endeavor, but out of gratitude for God’s love for us, which he demonstrated in Christ’s death and resurrection, we strive to live in such a way that honors His presence in us through the Holy Spirit (John 14:15-27).
Because God loves us and created us he knows that we long for loving relationships (John 14:18). Because we love God, we are committed to building a community of people who are learning how to love one other as God loves us (John 13:34-35). We are also committed to sharing with those around us the love, hope, and healing that has been made real in our lives through Christ and inviting them to share with us in this community characterized by love (Matt. 28:18-20).
